Voor het Hoofdwegennet (HWN) was Novis Group verantwoordelijk voor het volledige ontwerptraject. Dit begon met een gedetailleerd 3D-model, waarin alle wegcomponenten nauwkeurig werden verwerkt en afgestemd. Dit model vormde de basis voor de Definitief Ontwerp (DO) en Uitvoeringsontwerp (UO) tekeningen, inclusief lengteprofielen, dwarsprofielen en constructiedetails.
Naast tekeningen hebben we uitgebreide ontwerprapportages opgesteld. Hierin werden ontwerpkeuzes en technische afwegingen gedocumenteerd, ondersteund door een strikte eisverificatie. Dit hielp om te waarborgen dat alle contractuele en technische eisen werden nageleefd. Door deze aanpak konden ontwerpkeuzes vroegtijdig gevalideerd worden, wat het risico op knelpunten in latere projectfasen minimaliseerde.
Naast het wegontwerp namen we ook de BIM-coördinatie van het gehele project op ons. Dit hield in dat we de samenwerking tussen disciplines coördineerden en de datastromen optimaliseerden. We voerden clash-controles uit, waardoor mogelijke ontwerpfouten vroegtijdig werden gedetecteerd en opgelost.
Na het eerste jaar werd onze rol verder uitgebreid met het Onderliggend Wegennet (OWN). Dit bracht nieuwe uitdagingen met zich mee, zoals afwijkende ontwerpeisen en een andere dynamiek in verkeersstromen. Dankzij de gestructureerde BIM-werkwijze konden we deze uitbreiding soepel integreren, zodat de aansluiting met het HWN optimaal functioneerde en de uitvoeringsfase zonder problemen kon starten.
